Last year during the occasion of Kahtain, CFC contributed as a main donor in organizing the Kathina ceremony at Kyaukchaung Monastery, located in Thaketa Township. The monastery delivers free education to around 200 monks, novices, and students. Since that time, CFC has continued to support the monastery with a monthly donation of (2 million) MMK. These contributions have gone towards expanding the school’s facilities, reopening a free medical clinic, renovating the library, supporting long-term education for the students, and even daily nutritional meals. This donation also means as a sustainable CSR initiative that contributes the well-being of the community.
